Redeemed Smart Lighting Terms & Conditions

A DBA of Redeemed Renovations LLC

Effective Date: 10/09/2026

1. Agreement to These Terms

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of Redeemed Smart Lighting services and any estimate, proposal, installation, service visit, or other work we provide. By requesting or accepting our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and any written project terms provided with your estimate.

2. About Redeemed Smart Lighting

Redeemed Smart Lighting is a DBA of Redeemed Renovations LLC. We provide permanent outdoor roofline lighting design, installation, service, and related lighting work for residential and commercial customers.

3. Services We Provide

The services included in a project are the services specifically described in the applicable estimate or proposal. Services may include consultation, measurements, lighting design, product supply, installation, programming, removal, service, or other work agreed to in writing.

4. Estimates and Proposals

Estimates and proposals are based on the information available when they are prepared. A proposal may change if site conditions, measurements, requested materials, access, or the scope of work changes. The written proposal controls the agreed project scope and price when it is accepted.

5. Acceptance and Scope Changes

A project begins when the customer accepts the proposal and completes any required deposit or other starting requirement. Changes requested after acceptance may require a revised price, schedule, or written approval before the changed work is performed.

6. Scheduling and Delays

Installation and service dates are scheduled in good faith and may change because of weather, material availability, site conditions, illness, safety concerns, or events outside our reasonable control. We will communicate material schedule changes as soon as reasonably practical.

7. Customer Access and Preparation

The customer is responsible for providing safe and timely access to the property, the work areas, and any necessary power, controls, or other facilities. The customer must identify known hazards, property restrictions, underground utilities, and conditions that could affect the work.

8. Installation Conditions

Installation depends on the actual conditions of the property. We may pause, modify, or decline work that cannot be performed safely or in a reasonably workmanlike manner. Additional work caused by concealed, changed, or unusual conditions may require customer approval and a revised charge.

9. Products and Materials

Products and materials are selected for the approved project and may include products supplied by third-party manufacturers. Product appearance, availability, specifications, and compatibility are subject to the applicable manufacturer information and the approved proposal.

10. Customer Responsibilities

The customer is responsible for accurate project information, required permissions, access, and decisions about the property. The customer must operate the system in accordance with provided instructions and must not alter, move, or repair installed equipment except as permitted by the applicable product and service instructions.

11. Payment

The customer agrees to pay the amounts and at the times stated in the accepted proposal or invoice. The customer is responsible for approved changes, additional authorized work, applicable taxes, and other charges stated in the project documents. Unpaid amounts may delay work or service.

12. Cancellation and Rescheduling

Requests to cancel or reschedule should be made as early as possible. The customer may be responsible for committed materials, completed work, preparation, special-order items, or other costs described in the accepted proposal or required by applicable law.

13. Warranty

Any warranty provided for a project is limited to the warranty stated in the accepted proposal, invoice, or separate written warranty. Manufacturer warranties, if any, are subject to the manufacturer’s terms. Warranty coverage may not apply to damage or failure caused by misuse, unauthorized changes, accidents, weather, power conditions, or ordinary wear.

14. Service and Repairs

Service requests are evaluated based on the reported issue and the condition of the system. Service outside an applicable warranty may be billed at the rates or charges communicated before the work is performed. We may recommend replacement when repair is not reasonably available or appropriate.

15. Property and Existing Conditions

We will take reasonable care while performing the agreed work. Existing property conditions, age, construction, weather exposure, and concealed conditions can affect installation and may result in ordinary installation marks or limitations. We are not responsible for conditions that were not caused by our work or that could not reasonably be identified before work began.

16. Permits and Compliance

The proposal will identify any permit or approval responsibilities known for the project. The customer must cooperate with property-owner, neighborhood, utility, or other approvals that apply to the property. Work will be performed in accordance with applicable requirements within the agreed scope.

17. Communications

We may communicate with the customer by phone, email, text message, or other contact information provided by the customer about estimates, scheduling, project updates, invoices, service, and support. Message and data rates may apply. Customers may opt out of nonessential text messages by replying STOP.

18. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is described in the Redeemed Smart Lighting Privacy Policy. That policy is part of the information governing the customer relationship and is available at /privacy-policy.

19. Photos and Project Information

The customer may provide photos, measurements, property details, or other project information for the purpose of preparing, performing, or supporting the services. Any use of project photos or information for marketing purposes will be handled only as permitted by the customer’s agreement and applicable law.

20. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, liability arising from a project or service is limited to the direct damages caused by our breach or negligent conduct and to the amount paid for the affected service. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

21. Disputes and Governing Law

The parties will first try in good faith to resolve a project concern by communicating with one another. These Terms & Conditions and the services are governed by the laws applicable in New York, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

22. Updates to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The version in effect when a project is accepted will apply to that project unless the parties agree otherwise in writing. The current version will be posted on this page with its effective date.

Our Commitment

Our commitment is to provide thoughtful lighting design, careful installation, clear communication, and responsive service throughout the customer relationship.
